The Blackdown Hills AONB Partnership is made up of local authorities, interest groups, national agencies and local communities. This partnership comes together to ensure that the Blackdown Hills remains a healthy, living landscape for future generations.
The AONB Partnership funds a small staff team based in Hemyock. The team's activities include:
- planning how best to manage the countryside
- working with conservationists, farmers and landowners
- supporting local communities and enterprise
- promoting enjoyment and understanding of the landscape
